Our bespoke design service – who is it for?

Wacom tablet and pen

Our bespoke design service is for people needing a shiny new website. We’ll work closely with you to produce a professional website design with style and substance. Your site can be as simple or as complicated as you like. We take care of all the clever stuff so you don’t have to.

At each stage of the process you will be given options to choose from as well as expert advice so you won’t feel like you have to make decisions on your own.

I have to say that is awesome! I had envisaged a pencil sketch but now seeing it in colour as well is superb. – Stuart

The Process – What to expect

All design projects will be split into three stages. We will ask for your approval at each stage, before we progress to the next.

Stage 1

In Stage 1 we’ll discuss your requirements and create a specific brief for the project, covering your goals and ambitions for the site. I will then design a range of concepts for you to give your feedback. Revised drafts are then produced and the process continues back and forth until you are happy with the design.

Stage 2

Stage 2 is the build stage. This involves turning the ‘design proof’ into a finished website. The process begins with installing WordPress, configuring plugins followed by customising a bespoke theme to match your exact specification. I can also guide you through registering a domain name and purchasing a hosting package. These will need to be bought separately by yourself, but cost as little as £3.25 /month ($5). In this way, you’ll have the freedom to fully control and maintain your site in the years to come.

Stage 3

Stage 3 is the chance for you to fine tune the design. I’ll carefully listen to your feedback and tweak elements as necessary. The design can evolve even at this stage. After a final polish, the keys to your site will be handed over, along with everything you need to manage and embellish your site.

With 6 weeks of technical email support you’ll receive all the tools and confidence necessary to independently manage your site for years to come.
